18.11.2021The Persistence of Memory - Perspectives on Dementia from Art, Philosophy, Medicine

Dementia-related diseases represent a health-policy challenge for Switzerland as they affect large parts of society - be it patients, their relatives or medical, nursing and research professionals. Several "artists-in-labs" have dedicated themselves to a broad range of topics around dementia and developed artistic projects in exchange with researchers of the University of Zurich (URPP DynAge, Institute for Biomedical Ethics and History of Medicine) and medical professionals of the Memory Clinic of the Waid City Hospital. These projects will now be presented as part of the Long Night of Philosophy 2021. More information (in German) about these events can be found here and here.
