Our Reseach Agenda
Taking lifespan psychological, neurophysiological, neuroanatomical, and medical foundations for the maintenance of health and quality of life into consideration, and integrating methods and concepts from geographical information and computer science, ethics and law, the URPP Dynamics of Healthy Aging examines how psychological health and quality of life can be stabilized at low, intermediate, and high levels of functioning from middle adulthood to advanced old age. The goal of the URPP is to gain better understanding of the between-person differences in the dynamic within-person processes that contribute to the maintenance and promotion of healthy longevity through application-oriented, participatory, and translational research. This URPP further aims to establish a research environment that facilitates the sustainable and efficient use of dense longitudinal person data.
