Certificate of Advanced Studies in “Counseling Competence for Living in Old Age”
In this project a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in “Counseling Competence for Living in old age was developed. The CAS is offered once every year since autumn 2020.
The CAS course includes 13 attendance days, e-learning and intervision groups. It enables participants to counsel elderly people and their social environment. On the one hand, participants acquire counseling skills specifically tailored to the target group of elderly people seeking advice. On the other hand, they acquire both theoretical and practical expertise on the topics, crises and conflicts of the life phase of old age. The course content is continuously evaluated and further developed.
